Paleo Diet for weight loss.

The health crisis in our world is growing frantically.. We can now see how much trouble we are in. We need to eat the way our ancestors ate, enter Paleo Diet. We need to start to understand what is being put into our food, all the extra ingredients and all the extra fillers. With the paleo diet, exercise should be done as well. All the video games and computer use, probably do not help either.

The old trend of the paleo diet, is not new. With all the benefits it has, it is easy to see why it is gaining steam. You may not be able to see yourself eating this, but most others can't either. If you can, however, you will get healthier, and have a better quality of life. Some things that will be effected are the obesity rates, and the high blood pressure rates. You may start to see improvements in your digestion, and your energy levels.


Agriculture



We started out as hunters and gathers, a very very long time ago. When agriculture started we were introduced to lots of new foods, unnecessary foods.. Grains, dairy, and refined sugars were not even thought about yet. These food were not used by use before, and shouldn't be now. We used to get our weapons out, and find our dinner. In our modern society its not as prevalent, but is still done. In our fast paced world, we eat fast. Getting our food is exactly the same. No one wants to wait. With the time at work and the kids at home, no one wants to cook. Meat had to be hunted, berries picked, and the fire started. We used to do this, but we need to except the fact that things have changed. Not for the better either. Most Americans are overweight, in some way or another. We are still on a very fast incline to the top of the overweight charts. If this was the Olympics, we would hold gold and silver medals. The vegetable I have noticed most is corn. Yes, corn. It has been include in more food labels, than the word healthy has.


Natural or Not



When we think of food, we may not be thinking about what is actually in your food.. Most items marked as healthy, or diet, usually aren't. New labels are replacing old labels all the time, from different variations of sugars, to the corn by products we all know and love(joke). Many items can be relabeled, and reused as different things, so they can be labeled differently. Health is not of concern to the food big wigs. It doesn't take a health nut to know this is not healthy. It surprises me that more people don't know, with all the information on the internet and in the news.. Many of these so called experts hid this things from us on behalf of the food companies. No one likes a noisy nelly. We need to take back our lives, and our health. It doesn't matter how much they change names, we will always have ways to find out the ingredients.







Do you really think that you can't lose weight? It is all about what you eat, you can lose weight on the paleo diet. The question is are you ready to start. Striving for healthy living and fitness should be all of our goals. At least to start. You don't have to be a model, heck, you don't even have to be healthy. If, however, you are only over weight because you think you can't lose weight, then this is how. You have to make a change, if you want to change. Your body needs to be rebalanced, and it will thank you. It is time to get going on the right track. It is time to start now.
